Description

I found this knife also in a thrift store, (I do a lot of thrift store shopping!) and thought it was so unique and different that I had to get it.  I cannot find anything like it on the internet.  I did find some tribal mask that had similar style to the knife.  But the closer you look at this knife the more amazing it is.  Every white piece is actual bone!  The jaw is a parhanna jaw, a friend of mine said the small sharp bones are snake vertabre, and the long rib looking things that are "legs and arms" I have no idea what beast the bones are from.  The crown looks like a scale of some time to me, but 2 people have said it looked like hollow dear antler. The blade is a current modern blade, but I don't know if it is the original blade or switched out.  The sheath of the blade underlying material is leather.  Any insight from someone would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

Best regards,

Michelle
