It sort of looks like a pie safe, but it's difficult to tell from your photo. What are the dimensions of the piece? Does it open with one large door or is it drawers? More pictures would be helpful . Also, can you tell what type(s) of materials it's made from?
If the front panels are screen, then it was used as a pie safe, if it's glass, it's a china cabinet with the shelving removed. It looks pretty rough in the image, probably go for $150.00 at auction.
