New Haven Wall Clock - school?

Description

A New Haven, Connecticut, WORKING wall clock. From similar items on Ebay, I believe it might be classified as a "school" clock. It chimes hourly.  We know nothing about antiques or furniture, so any help is greatly appreciated.

History
This belonged to my mother-in-law, who is now deceased. It has hung in her home for as long as we know and is working. Otherwise, we have no history.
I listed condition as "good" as the clock face has small cracks, and the veneer around the pendulum door is missing a small piece.
