Description While the item is in good condition, and the poem "The Night Before Christmas", which is written in the author's own hand, and is cursive is very legible, the parchment it is on is brittle on the edges, browning, and looks ready to fall apart if treated badly... I have had it in storage with my other old stuff; an old book of Tennyson poems from the 1890s, my 1927 buffalo head nickel, and a few other items I hated to part with. I never thought to take a picture of the item, but I can forward one to any interested parties after initial appraisal.
