Re: nippon vase
Beautiful Nippon, Im not a pro but I am familiar with the name and I have a small vase that is chipped unfortunately. I know that it is valuable, not sure how much, but the collector is sure to pay much to add it.Good Luck
Re: nippon vase
Just a note, If you want someone to help ID. something we need lots of Info first, I would be guessing the size, is it 6' or 6" tall?..I can make out handpainted , but not the mark, other then you saying Nippon, its all guessing,,,understand?.........I would love to help ID this vase for you.
Re: nippon vase
I can't make out the mark, but if it says Nippon it does likely date 1891-1921. From what i can see of the vase , it's a pretty standard mid quality nippon vase dating around 1900. Values for Nippon are not what they were in the 80's and 90's, for the smaller vases we see them now failing to meet their reserves or going at auction for less than $150.00.
