We bought this the other day, the set has 21 pieces, 6 tea cups, 6 saucers, and 6 plates (I am guessing for dessert), tea pot with lid, sugar bowl with lid, and the cream cup. All items have the same marking in picture above and gold leafed around the edges. The lady we bought it from told us her husband bought it in Japan about 1952 I think she said, and then he had it shipped over. All are in excellent condition, no cracks or breaks. Just in case you can't read the marking completey it says Noritake and then underneath Nippon Toki Kaisha. I have looked online forever and haven't found anything with the same markings or year!
