not sure - home decor of some type

Description The top and bottom are open. The top has a lid with a hole in the center. The handles are the head of elephants. There are green leaves rising from the bottom most of the way to the top. There are colored butterflies above of the leaves. The color is some type of medium inlayed into the brass. I am interested in selling this item but would like to have more history on it before pricing.
