This set is quite modern, it's unlikely it predates the 1970's. It also does not look like oak in the pictures. Sets like this were all the rage from the late 1960's and into the 1980's, today there are huge numbers of them coming back on the market abs baby Boomers downsize. we se sets like this going at auction for about $400.00.
