Description My son and I found this spoon at a yard sale in California. The spoon looks to be silver and has a sunflower at one end of the handle.  The bowl of the spoon is stamped with "Oberammergau".  Oberammergau is a town in Bavaria known for it's passion play, which began as a vow by the villagers in 1634 when God spared their village from the bubonic plague.  On the back of the flower is stamped "800" plus some other letters that I cannot make out.  I don't have a magnifying glass to see it clearly.  Other than that info, I know nothing about this spoon.  We bought it as a gift for my son's friend who collects spoons.  I thought it would be nice to include some information about the gift.  The spoon is not for sale.  I just want some info on it if possible. (Approximate age, value, etc.)
