Occupied Japan - Harmony House Elizabeth China -86 Piece Set

I recently inherited my great grandmother's set of china an am looking for appraised values to determine whether I should keep it or sell it.It was a wedding gift to my great grandparents in the early 1940s.This set was made by Meito and is marked Occupied Japan. This is an 86 piece set. The majority is in very nice condition.  There are 11 Dinner plates 12 salad plates 11 bread plates 12 berry bowls 12 soup bowls 12 saucers 9 cups Sugar bowl and lid creamer bowlround vegetable bowl oval vegetable bowl  covered vegetable bowl

Re: Occupied Japan - Harmony House Elizabeth China -86 Piece Set

Pieces marked "Occupied Japan" were only made after World War Two ended in 1945, the marking remained in use until 1952. China like this was made in very large numbers for the Export market, so it is not considered rare or very valuable. Demand for it did experince an uptick in the 1980's which has since deminished. Whole sets of it now sell for under $200.00.
