Description
My father tried to resore this painting which is why it is in such bad condition. The painting is oil on wood & the wood panel was warped or domed & he placed weights on it trying to flaten it out & split it in two places. (Yikes!) He then coated it with some sort of varnish.
Does anyone know the value of this painting? It is beaufifully painted - The bible story of St Peter denying knowing Jesus as the cock crowed 3 times.
I don't know anything else about it.
