Description Oriental young lady, seated on carpet, mostly in muted greys and and blacks background. Lady is seated in left profile with left leg tucked under her right slightly elevated leg. Right let is out in front of subject, Right arm it crossed to hold her left knee, left arm is supporting slightly to her rear. Torso is turned 3/4 to artist, straight long black hair. Painting is in good condition, no cracking of the paint, been in dark hallways.

History I know the artist is itallian, but painted in France. My Grandfather bought two paintings by him, while he travelled extensively with his job. I know my Grandfather retired at an early age so I am guessing at the date of when it was painted. I know the artist was born in 1915 and died in 1995. I am in posession of a painting of a nude and my mother kept the one she preferred which is of ships. I am almost sure this is not the original frame. Any info. about artist and vaule would be most helpful.
