This is an old china cabinet that my GGAunt owned. I can remember seeing it in her kitchen when I was a small child in the 1940's. It has a door in the middle that opens with three shelves inside. The top shelf can be removed. It has one large drawer at the bottom which I assumed held table linens, etc. The bottom underside is covered with wire, I assume to keep mice out as pies, cakes were stored in the cabinet part. It is very decorative, has scroll work, the original handles & is in excellent shape. This piece also has a table & chairs that go with it which is at a sister's house in storage. I was unable to find any markings whatsoever as to the maker.
These will be kept in our family; however, I am curious as to about when it was made & if it has any value, other than sentimental.
