its 3 1/2 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches wide by 1/4 inch thick,it looks more like a rock than a lighter,just hopeing someone might be familiar with it and let me know what era,or info on it,thanks

found it on top of a mountain when i was 16 thought it was a rock,i have looked over the years never seen one close,has a name scratched on front (LATYE) and thats all i know about it,was hopeing someone on here could tell me anything about it
