Description

Hello,

My Mother works at an Italian cultural center in the art gallery and this knife was left there years ago for holding by an art client. The client never returned to retrieve the knife.

Was just wondering if anyone had any insight as to the age/origin of this? I know nothing about items of this nature so any info would be helpful.

The blade is held in to the hilt by what looks like a homemade screw. I'm not sure what material the hilt is made of but seems like somewhat of a brittle metal.

Does not appear to have been made using any sort of modern mold as there are no seems and it is pretty asymetrical.
