Old Furniture

By SherylP, 15 January, 2014
Description

This is are items which my mother has had for 40+ years.  They are all part of what made up our living room furniture.  They items have primarly been in our home on display (rarely used).  All items have a gold color (not sure what the material is) and are very heavy.  The condition of the items are above average.  There is also a dresser with mirrors and a chest that are just as old and heavy as well.

Re: Old Furniture

Based on the images it's unlikely this furniture predates thye 1960's, it's just designed to look old. Furniture like this was mass produced right through the 1980's and demand for it is currently very weak, we see whole dining and bedroom sets of it sell for less than $500.00 at auction.
