Description I have a drum that I can't find any info on anywhere. It is 18 " tall 6" at head tapering out to ten" at bottom then diving straight in to four" for remaining two inches. It has an inch and a half sound hole in the bottom with no other slits or protrusions. It also has 4 tuning pegs equally spaced around outside of body about 4 inches from the top. These pegs resemble railroad ties in shape and size. When I found it (in the woods) it's head was almost gone and I didn't find a ring with it. It also has some real nice carvings on the body and is chiseled away inside. I have looked at every site featuring native and foreign hand drums and I'm still coming up empty.
