Old Painting

I acquired this painting from an antique shop that was going out of business about 13 years ago

and the proprietor told me that it was included in a container of stuff he bought from Europe years

before. He knew nothing else and as you can see it has considerable damage. It measures 15" x 18" 

and I believe it to be oil on canvas. I have had it in storage for the last 15 years or so and only recently

came across it while moving.

Any info you can provide would be appreciated and of course if there is any value there I will sell.
