Long Description
The only item my mother wanted from her GG's estate and, according to her, had already been in the family additional generations before GG's birth (1866).  The upper 5-chest drawers sit atop a separate 2-drawer base. The wood is very thick and the sides, top, drawer bottom appear to be from single pieces of lumber. The nails that are original look square and I took a close up of a nail head. It never had drawer pulls. Would much appreciate any observations about age or suggestions where to research. I know it's kind of a ruin but am absolutely consumed with curiosity to see how it meshes with what I've heard of family history (mythology?). The sides bear what appear to be decorative swirls. Thanks -
