AI Appraisal

Description

I'm trying to fing out the age of my rocking chair. I can't find ay markings as the bottom of the chair seems to be missing something. Maybe a board to hold the springs in. The top has split off and the dowels are showing and the chair has some crazing. I have no history of the chair except it was passed from my husbands grandmother to me. Any ideas on what it is and if it is worth restoring?
