Description
I have an old carved wooden statue of the Hindu goddess Parvati, playing the flute. The statue is about 35 inches high by 17" wide at the base. I found this at an estate sale early 2012. I don't know if it is originally from India, Indonesia, or somewhere else - just liked it, got it.

A dealer in Indian art told me this was from the Orissa region of India.
