The grinder is barrel shaped but with 3 flat sides, sounded between those. Has a metal insert. the bottom section is 2.25x 1.75" at base. The wood threaded part of top/grinder is 2", the entire grinder portion is 3 3/8".
On the bottom says MADE ITALY.
