Description
This item was given to me by mother who was in her mid-70's a few years ago; she told me it was very old and antique, passed down to her from her grandmother to her mother (they lived in the US SE/Carolinas region; that's all I know so far about its origin).
As shown in the pictures, it is about 7in tall and 5in by 2.5in wide; it has a sort of 'H' shaped mark on the bottom (the H mark looks somewhat like an upside down Honda 'H' logo); it has what seems like a medium-grain sand-covered outer surface; it has a sand/tan color appearance with some gold-colored accents on the handles and flowers. I think it is 'sand majolica'.
Seeking appraisal and/or any other info, opinion, or reference about it, thank you!
