Description
This is a banjo that has been in my family for af least 35 years. I remember this banjo as a child at my grandfathers house. It has been stored in a case inside my home for over 15 years. My grandfather played banjo some, and I learned a little as a child. This banjo belonged to a great uncle in my family. It has a plate on the rear of the head that is numbered 500. My grandfather and great uncle advised me there were a limited number of these made. There are no other discernable markings on the banjo. The banjo feels very solid and well made. It is in good condition and has been kept clean and dry. Can anyone help me identify it and perhaps ascertain aa value?
