Description
This bottle is one of two 1915 contour Coca-Cola bottle prototypes in existence. The other one is displayed at the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, Georgia.
The bottle was designed and created by by grandfather, Earl R. Dean, in 1915. He had made a half dozen or so prototype bottles. They all broke except for two which he tucked away in his locker. About two years later, he stumbled upon them and took them to his boss, Chapman J. Root. Dean was told he could keep one of them. The other one would eventually be donated to the Coca-Cola Company.
The Coca-Cola bottle considers their prototype bottle to be priceless.
