Description

I inherited this sword from my grandfather who was a war veteran.
I did not anything other than it was a Nazi sword until I did some research.
i believe it is an ORIGINAL THIRD REICH

EICKHORN DRESS SWORD FIELD MARSHAL SERIES MODEL 1714 ‘FREIHERR VON STEIN’.

I've read that they are rare.

the sheath is original and shows some wear(pitting or rust) but the sword itself is in great overall condition. Seems to have some oxidization on the handle.

im hoping that someone can help me verify my research and give me a valuation.
