I am interested in knowing if someone could tell me a little about these chairs. I just purchased and am very curious to know what they are all about and what kind of value they may carry.

Am new to antiques etc, the chairs look to be from the 1930-40's I think, can't think of anything else for now. Not sure about the wood, looks to be of cheap variety looking at the grain and lack of swirls etc in it.
