AI Appraisal
Description Two Pitta birds sitting atop ferns and bracken in a Rain forested area, probably New Guinea. He painted on location and was a specialist in the Bird of Paradise. These are photos taken through glass and do not do the colours justice. They are still vivid but tasteful and quite realistic. Both Pitta birds have red breasts, blazes on their upper neck and throat region and dark wings and body regions.
