I have a pair of gold speckled and white lamps made out of glass. They are both on top of a metal base, gold-colored, possibly brass?? There is a possible marble base under the metal part. I do not know how to verify the materials.
The other pieces I have acquired from the same person have all been from the 1930s-50s. I do not know for sure if these are as well, but it wouldn't be impossible.
I have tried looking up info on Murano glass lamps, but I am not sure how to fully determine if these are or not. Their design is not the same in each lamp. They are quite weighty. They measure approximately 19.5" from the base to the bottom of the bulb socket (it's a little hard to measure due to its shape). The diameter at the widest part of the lamp is approximately 8.5". They are both fully functional.
The bottom of the marble base has some felt that is starting to deteriorate.
marble?
brass?
8.5" diameter
