Pair of oriental figure lamps

Description

Does anyone know the approx. age and value of this pair of oriental figure lamps with gold? hand paint. base is 6x4.75".  height is 26" from base to top of brass finial, base to top of electric fixture is 16".   Purchased by my grandfather years ago.  No markings of any kind.  porcelain?  white underside.
