Pennsylvania House 9-Drawer Chest

9-Drawer Chest.  35 1/2" wide at the base, and is 20 1/4" deep at the base.  Is 33 3/4" wide at the top, and is 19 1/2" deep at the top.  Stands 51" tall.  Stamped Pennsylvania House in one drawer and has an original tag on the back side that also says Pennsylvania house on one side and Independence Hall Collection on the other side of tag.  Backside is stamped 7 7 75 or 7 17 75.  All drawers have dovetail joints.  One of the large drawers has a wooden divider.  What is the value as-is?  Would it be more desirable if I touched up some of the scratches, knicks, bare wood, or should it be left alone?  Can you tell the species of wood from the photos?  Thanks!
