I see some more writing top right? what does it say? have you looked at it with a loop? to see if its a print? If you can look on back, it should have more info? (of picture)

No loop what,s that? And I have not figuried out what the top say should I take it out the frame to look at the backside? I don,t want to ruinit in the frame.

a loop is a small magnifier to see real close. if you see small dots on the lines, it's a print. can you take a photo close up of the other writings? If your not comfortable don't take it apart. thanks. does your camara Zoom in? real close up of marks.

there is one in the mid 1940s There are so many fakes out there you need to take this to art place and let them tell you forsure.
Yours looks good for the 1940s sinature.. God Luck.
