http://www.artnet.com/artist/180829/james-townshend.html I would pay the $30.00 and get an actual estimate. I see some of the items that went to auction did not sell. That said, nonetheless 16 items in the database holds promise of some value.

Thank you, so much for your time. Who would use to get a actual estimate? I'm sorry I have no clue, have never had anything looked at before but more than willing to pay to have it looked at just to satisfy my curiosity.

It's very hard to determine from an image to tell just what you have, a watercolor or print. Have a look at it using a magnifying glass, if it's print it could have series of small dots or lines that make up the image.

Does anyone know who or where I can send this item to to find out what medium it is? I find many of prints by artist like Atkinson Fox but can't find any prints by this artist. Thanks
