Description

we found this pig bank at a yard sale a few years back and have been unable to find out anything on it,who made it or how old it is ? we first thought it was hull pottery corky pig bank but as you can see we found out its unlike them in many ways.the feet is unglazed  and i believe it is marked at the base in the back but i cant make it out .the blue glaze is also on the inside and believe the name also is some what visable but still un able to make out.the ears and eyes and tail is different..so i think its old.

its a pretty blue glaze that doesnt cover the feet(unsure what it is made of)the cork iseems old and can be removed to see more glaze in side.the tail and  eyes seem to sit on top of the piece but could have been worked into it .the eyes and tail seem to have had green for its run on the back

we have never cleaned it only a dusting when needed the green runs from tail might clean up..

any help on who made it ,how old it could be  and what that word is on the base would be greatly taken...

thank you so much

i love this pig bank and even if its nothing i feel its my greatest find exspecialy since all my hard work of finding nothing on it has been challanging..
