Description
This belonged to my great-great-great grandfather. It was in the possession of my maternal grandmother until her death in 1978. After her passing, my eldest sister took possession of it. Unfortunately, she died several years ago and I now am taking care of it.
Re: Pitcher and bowl
Sets like this were mass produced, as they were a necessary product found in virtually every North American home prior to the installation of indoor plumbing. Most date from the last quarter of the 19th century through to the 1930's. Values for them depend on the size of the set,the amount and type of decoration, and their current condition, most like yours sell for less than $100.00 at auction, even if undamaged.
