I bought a pitcher today at an estate sale. It is marked j.p.l. France and has the number indented under the glaze as 559. It's a beautiful purple, white, and green pitcher with grapes and a gold handle. I've been looking for an image of it online and can't find one. It also has the signature, "sandwich." Is there a story to this piece or was it made to look old? It's in amazing condition.
