Player piano's are
Player piano's are incredibly complicated machines that cost a large sum to restore and maintain. They also only appeal to a very small group of dedicated collectors, who scour the earth to find examples to add to their collections regardless of condition. Values for them are all over the map depending on the maker and style of the piano ( baby grand or upright). Most Upright cabinet types sell "as is" in the $400.00- $800.00 range, some baby grand versions by famous makers such as Steinway can sell for over $20,000 even at auction.
