Description
I wish I could tell you some basic information about this object but I honestly have no idea where it came from, I found it among some rubbish that had been fly tipped near my old house and it has been sitting in my kitchen ever since. When I found it it had been converted into a rather ugly looking lamp with a hole in the bottom for a wire to run through.
The second and third picture are of three symbols that are across the neck on both sides.

Well it certainly is an odd item, most silver on copper pieces like this come from the middle east. Very little data is available regarding them outside of museums that specialize in such things. I'd suggest contacting one of the larger museums, some do have identification days ( they won't give you a value) or you can contact a Curator to find out what options are available.
