Description
I purchased this antique wood burning stove from a friend years ago. He found it in an old mining camp in Colorado and had to pack out on a horse.
I would love to find out more about it or what the value is.
Estate Stove Company, Hamilton Ohio is stamped on the base of the stove. I've done some research on the company itself, but can not locate specific information on this particular stove.
Estate is stamped on the top of the door and Oak is stamped on the bottem of the door.
Above the door, it says No 344.
When the door is opened, a metal panel hangs down that states "Patented" and and lists various dates beginning with Sept. 1, 1891 and the last date being Dec. 28, 1898.
The iron wood poker is with the stove and is inserted in a spot at the top of the stove.
