I have this old photograph given to me by my father when I was a child. He said it was his father in the Russian Army.

I'd like to know if anyone can translate what is written on the back of it. I think it's either written in Russian or Lithuanian. Some member of my family question the identity of this peerson. I'd like to find out if he is my grandfather. I'm also hoping his name is there.

I'd really appreciate it if anyone can help me. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
