Porcelain dogwood candle holder

Description

I found this item in a second hand store and fell in ove even though I wasn't sure what it was. I determined it in my mind to be a candle holder, with a finger hold. It would hold 16 taper candles. It has gold gilding and Im not sure if the apple blossoms are hand painted or not but they are beautiful. On the bottom the only thing it has on it is NW-DW 81 then Dogwood in cursive underneath.

HAVE THE SAME PATTERN ON LIDDED SUGAR WITH DIFFERENT NUMBER OF 58.  I'M ASSUMING THE PATTERN NAME IS DOGWOOD AND THOSE ARE DOGWOOD BLOSSOMS. AND THAT THE NUMBER CORESONDS TO PIECE  OR PRODUCTION RUN
