Possible Vintage Mickey Mouse?? Help!?

By DisneyLover83, 9 April, 2016
Description

Hi! I'm new so please forgive me if my long explanation is more of a story. I don't have much information on the item in question because I have not purchased it yet. I do apologize if this is an inconvience to anyone and appreciate any and all help that you may be able to give!

I happened to be running a Girl Scout booth with my daughter at an auction and antique mall on 4/9/2016. We were checking out the store when we came across this crazy looking "rare Mickey Mouse" doll. I inquired about the authenticity of this item to one of the employees and she said that she was unsure because they don't check those things; that they just go on what they are told. The Mickey Mouse face could be authentic but I don't believe the body is original. The body does have a small tear at one one the seams. There is no stamp of Disney anywhere to be found on this doll. I would absolutely LOVE to add a vintage Mickey Mouse to my Disney collection but not if it's a fake. I definitely need some help in this department! If you have any kind of information that you believe would help me, please let me know! Thank you so very much!
