I have this bird (might be made of some kind of hard plastic) thats been sitting in my garden. The other day I noticed it sitting on the ground broken. When I went to throw it away I noticed these two egyptian heads glued to the inside. The material on the inside looks like a ivory looking hard plastic of some sort. There are no markings on it other than a little sticker at the bottom that says made in China. I just find this so amazing that someone would make this and if it hadnt broken I would have never known. This bird was given to me by my mother who found it at a garage sales somewhere.

Re: Pottery Bird
Logical explanation of those heads inside would be, that they are melting old spoilage plastic items to make new ones and because of different type of plastic they didnt melt all the way and ended "glued" inside bird ... interesting nevertheless :)
