Pottery painted bowl signed

By joyce325, 4 December, 2013
Description

I found this and it was cracked.  I put it back together and noticed that there is a signature on the bottom something like Hart @ (I have included a photo of that) it appears to be a painted bowl.  The edges are beveled like a pie crust.  I was just curious if it was worth anything.  It has a solid heavy feel to it obviously I don't know anything about pottery.

Re: Pottery painted bowl signed

Hi there,
this looks like a mid 1980s style of bowl. With a huge break and repair that you have shown, it would not be considered in good condition as you've listed - perhaps fair condition. You said it was cracked but you "put it back together" - sounds like it was broken, not just cracked. Due to the condition, doubt if it is worth much at all. What did you use to repair the break?

Re: Pottery painted bowl signed

I used a hot glue gun to repair the bowl.  Thank you.
