Description This classic "Welsh Cupboard" is one piece construction all mortise and tenon. Sled feet are good indications of its date of manufacture. The cornice is original with some damage, but wholly intact. Time in the barn has rotted out the bottom shelf of the cupboard. I have not tried to repair this as I wanted the cupboard to remain in 'as found' condition. I have owned this piece for 30 years. As far as I know it has either original pulls on the doors or pulls that date to the early 1800s.
