Primative/Tribal Kiln Dried? figure of woman preparing meal

Looks like an unglazd kiln dried piece.  Very tribal primative .  It's been in my family many many years.  My mother inherited it from a man who traveled around the world more than 50 years ago, I do not know how old it was before she received it.
