Primitive Butter Working Table

By mgullion, 22 January, 2013
Description

Primitive Butter Working Table.  Beautiful piece in great condition with all parts in tact as far as I know.  Seems to work although rusty.  The table slants a little bit to seperate and move the butter up and away from the milk.  The wood on this is just beautiful.  I'd love to know more about this, as well as it's estimated value.  I'd love to keep it, but I don't really have the space, so I'm looking at selling it...not sure where to start.  Thanks for any history, or advice you can give!

Re: Primitive Butter Working Table

Can anyone out there help with information about this?  I took it to a local Antique Dealer today and was made a reasonable offer, but would love to know more about this piece.  Thanks!
