Description

Just to be brief few years ago my fathers passed away and leave me with several very old items, among it there is a small statue /arca which my grandmother claim belong to her father who is a Dutch captain that was stationed in Indonesia during 1890.

The statue is predicted from east java majapahit 14th-15th Century and made from lava stone with the dimesion of 38 x 24 cm. from the estate of Elly von Metselaar.

To be honest I don’t really understand about antique and I am not too keen about keeping them

Pieces like this really require an expert to look at them, some are quite old, others are made for the Tourist market, but it takes an expert to tell the difference.
