Description
This jar is clear in color, with a metal ring and glass lid. The jar says MASON'S PATENT NOV 30th 1858. the N in patent and nov are backwards. No marks on the bottom. It has bubbles in the glass and seams on the side. the lid has the writing on it "ball bro's mfg co buffalo ny". any information would be appreciated.

if only tiny chipping on the ground top its worth 25-30$ . if the ball bros insert was tottaly clear the jar would be worth more.
