Description

I am trying to find out the year and price fo the tray. I cant make out the stamped number just the marking. The number is 5 digits, the fist is a 2, the fourth is a 5, and the fifth is a 4. I know it's c. 1888-1949 but nothing else. I can not find a picture online or information on it anywhere other then just the marking.  It measures 18 1/2" x 13 1/2" x 1 3/4.

There is not much demand for either silverplated hollow ware or flatware unless it's Art Nouveau or Art Deco examples by well known Designers. Values for mass produced Colonial Style platters like this one depend a great more on the condition of the plating than age, in my opinion this one dates between the WW1 and WW2 (1918-39), we'd retail one in good condition, polished and ready to go for under $60.00.
